Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an institution, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. Educators who invite students are responsible for obtaining any permissions or institutional approvals required for those learners to use the service.
The service and educator responsibility
Teaching Assistant Pro provides tools for course planning, content creation, assessment, analytics, learner support, and related teaching workflows.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular classroom. It is provided as an editable draft. The educator remains responsible for reviewing content, checking facts, protecting learners, making academic decisions, and approving anything shared or published.
Accounts and security
Account information must be accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at abhinav_v@bm.iitr.ac.in if you suspect unauthorised use.
Do not sell, share, or transfer account access outside the seats and permissions included in your plan. These terms are the user agreement for access to our service.
Plans, payments, and renewal
Prices and limits for teaching packs, custom institutional plans, the separate AI Plus subscription, and student course purchases are shown on our Pricing Details page and before purchase. Individual teaching packs cost ₹1,540 once for three course creations, with no automatic renewal or credit expiry. Each new course, including a course created from a template, permanently uses one credit. Deleting or archiving a course does not return that credit. Restoring the same archived course does not consume another credit. Buy another pack to create more courses after your credits are used.
Previous teaching subscriptions and AI Plus must be cancelled separately in their respective account areas or through support. Cancelling stops future renewals; paid access continues to the end of the paid period unless refunded. Course pack access continues independently of a previous subscription. Deleting an account or ceasing use does not itself cancel a payment mandate.
Payments are processed by Razorpay or another disclosed payment provider. We do not store your complete card, UPI, or bank credentials. The final payable total and any applicable taxes or other charges are disclosed before you confirm payment. We do not charge shipping or subscription cancellation fees.
AI allowances are service limits, not stored money. Unused allowances do not roll over or convert into cash. Free and teaching-plan allowances reset each calendar month in India; AI Plus follows its paid billing period. Your account shows usage and the next reset date.
A one-time course purchase grants access to the selected published course with no scheduled expiry, subject to continued availability of the course and service. It does not include a separate AI Plus subscription or guarantee perpetual hosting. If purchased access becomes unavailable, we will address restoration and any applicable refund under our policies.
Plan cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
See our Digital Delivery Policy for activation and access. Any price change for a subscription will be communicated before it applies to a future billing period; it does not retrospectively change a paid purchase.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of the original course content, files, prompts, and other material you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that material only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide the features you request.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the material, including student information. Do not submit unlawful content or sensitive personal data unless you have a lawful basis, appropriate safeguards, and a genuine need.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harm or discriminate against a person, distribute malware, bypass usage or security controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or generate deceptive academic records.
You may not use automated means to overload, scrape, or disrupt the service. Do not upload another person’s private information without authority, impersonate someone, exploit children, publish unlawful intimate imagery, or use generated material to deceive. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or third parties.
Report unlawful content, copyright concerns, impersonation, or privacy violations to our Grievance Officer, including the content’s location and the reason for the report.
Our intellectual property
The software, interface, branding, documentation, and service design are owned by Abhinav Verma or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership.
Third-party services
The service relies on providers for hosting, database and file storage, payments, email, search, and AI processing. Their availability and separate terms may affect individual features. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Availability, suspension, and termination
We work to keep the service available, but maintenance, security events, internet failures, or provider outages can interrupt access. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful activity, payment failure, abuse, or risk to the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, loss of data, or decisions made solely from AI output.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited under Indian law.
AI learning and career assistance does not promise a particular grade, certification, admission, scholarship, internship, or job. Check opportunities and eligibility with the original provider before acting.
Governing law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first attempt to resolve a dispute in good faith. Any court proceedings will be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.
That informal process is optional and does not delay or prevent a consumer complaint or another statutory remedy. Contact Abhinav Verma, our Grievance Officer, to raise a concern.
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
